Push For A Muslim Nation

The title might miss-lead a bit, but really you can take it many ways. Obama is pushing for the Muslim nations of the world, to create better relations and repair old wounds between our countries. Some may say that his pushes are to create a more Muslim America and for americans to embrace not only Islam but their way of life.

What Happened To Free Speech?

In Sunday’s Miss USA pageant, Miss California was very polite in her answer to the question about her views on gay marriage in California (see article on Foxnews.com). We allow the views on the pro side without recourse, so why be so upset with the opposing view? This is America, the land of free speech. Just because someone does not agree with your views does not mean that you should cast them down. It was with that common courtesy that we, America, have grown so much. Let the debate continue and let us continue to respect each others opinions.

A Great Comment On The War in Iraq

Scanning through Facebook comments on my friends page, I noticed this tidbit left regarding Obama’s continued support for the war in Iraq – monetary support that is.

Wars can be won. If there are two distinct sides. If there are distinct goals. If there are decisive battles. Obviously, ths is not the case. “War on Terror” is a gross logical fallacy.
Yet, conflicts can be dealt with responsibly. Leaving ASAP would be cowardice, shirking responsibilty, walking on the other side of the road to avoid the beaten man on the ground. Staying is dangerous. Staying is unappealing. Staying is unfair. But entering was the sin, and staying is the resposnsible consequence. Leaving destroys the opportunity to resolve and heal. Staying will hurt, but can heal, no matter who caused the wound.

Our Muslim President

He avoided the subject to the best of his abilities during his campaign. Yet, we now know without hesitation that our president is zealous supporter of Muslims. He plans to unite the Muslim world to the future socialist American, bringing Lady Liberty to her knees. He will never be “at war with the Islam.” He promised to help create a Palestinian state. That means he will have to turn the nations back on Israel. When American turns on Israel we will pay the price for it.

‘Imperfect’ Spending? That’s My President

Yes, today’s news is that our “perfect” president doesn’t mind signing an “imperfect” spending bill. At a time when money matters, why would our president sign this bill and break the promise to the American people that he made during his run for this office? I have a guess – it’s to full fill the promise that he made to his fellow democrats who put him there. I think we can say Obama is politics as usual.

Who Has Read (and understands) The Stimulus Bill?

Honestly, has anyone actually thoroughly read and understand the stimulus bill? Were all parts of the bill talked out? I can tell you that billions of dollars weren’t even talked out and no one person knows everything that was in it. Does this scare anyone else? Are you not concerned that our president can use fear to spend billions of dollars? Hum… does this not remind you of someone Obama yelled about for a year and a half? *cough-bush*

Obama: Only Government Can Save Us

Last night in his prime-time speech, Obama said that only government can break the cycle and save the nation from it’s current economic crisis. He also made his bid for the government to start controlling our schools. The proposed stimulus bill is the first step for the Obama administration turning the US into a socialist country.

Hope Over Fear

I love how a president can call his presidential win a victory of hope over fear and then use fear tactics in his administration. He says that if we don’t pass “his” stimulus bill that the nation will go into a longer-lasting recession. Where’s the hope? Where’s the hope that the hard working American people can actually work through our self made troubles and we don’t have to get our selves deeper into debt? Why do we have to add billions more to our hole? Isn’t it debt that got us into this mess in the first place? Obama attacked Bush daily during his campaign saying that his economic policies created our problems. Well, Obama’s pork-stimulated bill will make sure our grandchildren can enjoy the suffering.
